At Vortex, our mission is to empower individuals through the discipline and practice of Taekwondo. Our Instructors and Your Safety

Our lead instructor is fully qualified and insured to teach Martial Arts within the United Kingdom. To comply with child protection and the protection of young people, our lead instructor holds an Enhanced Disclosure check.

Unlimited Classes for all members

At Vortex we are passionate about helping our members believe and achieve their goals, that's why we offer unlimited training in our regular Dragons, Taekwondo and Adults classes PLUS a free starter uniform across all our membership levels. Saving you over £40 per month compared to other clubs with similar offerings. Please make a note of our timetable below.

Payment Options

Training Fees and Payment for Lessons

A breakdown of our membership options is shown below. Our monthly class fees are calculated based on 46 weeks of classes per year, . Where possible, we endeavour to run classes for 48 weeks per year to give our students a further optional 2 weeks training. Students also require a British Martial Arts and Boxing Association membership to allow them to achieve new colours through grading and make sure they are insured for any contact training in our classes, this can be paid for as a flat fee of £30 per year or can be added to your monthly class fees and paid in instalments for an extra £2.50 per month. As mentioned above, your first uniform is free of charge on all membership plans. All options are detailed below -

British Martial Arts and Boxing Association Membership Fees: EITHER-

£30 paid annually or

£2.50 paid monthly

Paid Monthly - £36.50

Paid 6 Monthly - £197 (10% Discount)

Paid Annually - £350 (20% Discount)

Pay As You Go - £9.50 per class (£5 per class for Kickboxing classes)

Squad Membership:

Our squad membership is designed for students who wish to take the next step and compete in the WKO competition circuit. Squad membership includes unlimited classes, your annual fighters license as well as your regular BMABA Membership and insurance, 1 set of Vortex team shirt and pants for competing in per year, and your first competition entry free. Please speak to your instructor to discuss upgrading to squad membership.

£297 paid 6 monthly (10% discount)

£528 paid annually (20% discount)

Direct Debit payments for class fees and BMABA Membership is via GoCardless. Should you wish to cease training at any time or change your membership level, please get in touch with me at andy@vortextkd.club or 07460605959. There is no refund given for class fees except in exceptional circumstances (relocation/injury etc and proof must be given). There is no mandatory notice period to change or cancel your membership, but one week’s notice must be given to change or cancel your membership.

Step Two: Get Signed Up!

Use the form below to fill in our Direct Debit form for class fee and Insurance fee collections. Once we have all your paperwork done your instructor will order your first uniform to arrive within 2 weeks!
